boudoir is in the eye of the beholder
THE PURSUIT OF SUBJECTIVE BEAUTY
No matter who you are, what you look like, or your age, you deserve to feel hot! I think everyone should take sexy pictures of themselves and get them done professionally too if they can afford it. Photography is a luxury/artsy service and isn’t required for a good life, but damn does it help! Having a trained eye point a camera at you makes all the difference. If you have always been curious about boudoir but never knew where to start, consider me your sexy shaman. I will guide you every step of the way to ensure you are confident and comfortable! I take my job as a photographer and professional hype woman very seriously and I want to show people that being yourself in sexy, period.
get a new perspective on yourself
Let me tell it to ya straight, okay? You’ve been lied to your whole life, also manipulated. It’s not that bad though, because now you’re learning the truth and soon you won’t be as destroyed when opening Snapchat only for the front facing camera to personally victimize you once again. The reason you feel that way is because of focal lengths and angles.
An iPhone selfie cam is anywhere from 22mm to 28mm usually, a very fucking wide angle to photograph a face, especially close up. If the phone’s camera was set to a flattering 85mm or even 100mm, it would distort us in a way that kind of condenses, instead of pancakes us out. What I want you to take away from this information is that nothing is as it seems in life, to have an open mind, to talk nicely to yourself, and take hot pics!
The majority of the time when we actually see ourselves it’s via a distorting mirror or a phone camera. I say distorting because I want you to know there’s this thing called perspective, and it makes all the difference in the world. As professional photographers we spend a lot of time stressing about what lenses to shoot with, not because the lenses are mean to us, but because each lens has a focal length to it that accomplishes different things. Simply put, it’s what determines how wide or narrow your field of vision is.
“on the days when you feel like a couch gremlin, your boudoir portraits will remind you that inner Baddie is always there.”
