A LABOR OF LOVE
YOUR UNIQUE LOVE STORY, YOUR WAY.
THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS “NORMAL” anymore, so let’s just be our real, weird, awkward, passionate, nerdy, hot selves.
You can be…
goofy
sexy
awkward
fancy
funny
serious
dramatic
casual
cool
whatever your vibe, just be yourself.
Lights, cameras, act-
wait, what do I wear?
Something that makes you feel good! Think of your couples session like a date night, where you can play dress up and just spend some time together laughing, smooching and loving on your partner. I love it when my clients show off their personalities via their outfit choices, or when they match each other while maintaining their individual vibes. Try to think of your outfits as being a compliment to each other, as well as the environment you’ll be photographed in. What vibe do you want to give off? What part of your story do you want to tell…?
But also, don’t stress out! I am here to guide you along the way. I like to make Pinterest boards and provide creative planning for my clients so we can get on the same visual page and have a shared creative tool to plan out the delicious details.
“What do I do with my hands… and my face?”
So, like the wardrobe, this too is where I will help guide you, because there’s a million and one ways to pose a person, so that means there’s a million and 2 ways at least to pose two people. My best advice is to relax, relax your forehead and your jaw, take a deep breath and relax your shoulders. Don’t worry, don’t stiffen up, the poses come naturally as we flow during the session and hopefully l will have a brain full of ideas and a phone as backup when the brain runs out. I’ll guide you with any posing we do, but a lot of the time I like to give my people a prompt and have them move around together, kissing, laughing, smiling, or dancing. Then, if we bring props into the mix we have a whole other set of poses we could dream up, so don’t worry, just lean into it and know I got you.
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskinad

Survey says…
A lot of people who have either never worked with a good photographer before, or who have had a bad experience may not know the beautiful bright side of having good photographs of them! I want to provide that for you and your S.O. for your engagement, wedding, or just because! Once you see yourself through my lens you’ll never settle for less again!
